One Step Chikungunya IgM Test
Chikungunya is a viral disease that is transmitted to humans by infected mosquitoes-species of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albbopictus. The most common symptoms of chikungunya virus infection are fever and joint pain. Other symptoms may include headache, muscle pain, joint swelling, or rash skin. Outbreaks have occurred in countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Indian and Pacific Oceans. As a result of the vector-mediated local transmission, there was a risk that the virus could be imported into a new area by infected travelers. There is no vaccine to prevent or medicine to treat Chikungunya virus infection.
