Onul LH

One Step Luteinizing Hormone Test

Luteinizing hormone (LH, also known as lutropin and sometimes lutropin) is a hormone produced by gonadotropic cells in the anterior pituitary gland. In females, an acute rise of LH (“LH surge”) triggers ovulation and the development of the corpus luteum. In the case of men where LH had also been called ICSH, stimulates Leydig cells to produce testosterone. It acts synergistically with FSH.
