ICH Ag TEST
One Step Infectious Canine Hepatitis Virus Antigen Test
Infectious canine hepatitis is caused by CAV (canine adenovirus 1) which targets other body organs. The virus is spread by body fluids, including saliva, urine, and direct contact with an infected dog. The virus affects the tonsils and larynx causing a sore throat, coughing, and occasionally pneumonia in both puppies and dogs. As it enters the bloodstream, it can affect the eyes, liver, and kidneys. As a sign of infection, the dog may experience clouding in the cornea.
