Canine CRP TEST

One Step Canine CRP Test

C-reactive protein (CRP) concentration increases rapidly and significantly during systematic inflammation and subsequently decreases quickly following the elimination of the source of inflammation. Canine CRP is a valuable diagnostic marker for the detection of the acute phase response in dogs. Its concentration has been shown to increase rapidly in various disorders including viral and bacterial infections, sepsis, and pyometra as well as in surgical trauma.
