Toxo Ab TEST
One Step Toxoplasma Antibody Test
Toxoplasmosis is a zoonosis caused by infection with Toxoplasma and is prevalent under various climatic conditions. The main hosts for Toxoplasma are wild and domestic cats. Infection in cats can cause significant symptoms such as fevers along with neurological loss of appetite and lethargy. Necrosis, shortness of breath, jaundice, and neurological symptoms of the lung, liver, or central nervous system may appear. It is a disease that makes your cat lose sight and spreads through the cat's feces. When a dog is infected, fever, weight loss, or loss of appetite may appear. Dogs might suffer seizures, ataxia, paresis, or muscle weakness. Ocular changes are rare but are similar to those described in cats.
