Canine Parvovirus (CPV) is a highly contagious virus that attacks the intestinal tract of dogs. It causes loss of appetite, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and rapid dehydration. The severe clinical symptoms are a deadly threat to dogs and puppies. The variants of CPV that have been identified causing similar clinical signs so far are CPV2, CPV2a, CPV2b, and CPV2c.
